This new site build was completed in early 2022 to showcase the new B2B offerings of Virtually UK. My part of the project was building the WordPress site from exact Figma wireframes as provided from Shoreditch Design Studio, the design studio who created the designs.

To accomplish this build, I made a completely custom and lightweight WordPress theme for the site, along with simple to manage site templates so that the client could easily update the sites content moving forward, as well as add new elements and pages whenever needed.

Since the site was launched, I have continued to work with the client and the design agency to add new functionality to the site including new blog functionality, custom post types and more.

Joe and Co. is a Manchester based specialists garment producers of sustainable British, Italian & Japanese raw Selvedge Denim Jeans and other menswear. I have worked with this client over a number of projects now, and most recently completed an overhaul of a number of key pages on the Shopify store along with a freelance designer.

Designs were provided to me in Figma, which I then converted in to Shopify sections, which can all be customised and altered using Shopify’s visual theme editor, and used throughout the site by the client.

YPulse is a New York based leading authority on Gen Z and Millennials. Staffed with a cross-functional team of researchers, marketers, writers, and technologists they give clients a 360-degree view of what it’s like to be a young consumer in America today through their large and constantly updated content archive. I completed this project in mid-late 2022, with precise designs provided to me by Shoreditch Design Studio.

This is one of the largest website overhauls I have completed, which consisted of creating dynamic content specific to a users location/account type, templates and widgets for a large content archive, working with third party apis, all of which was to a very specific brief and design which all had to be completed in the Elementor page builder.

Since the changes were rolled out in mid 2022, I have worked further with the client to add additional functionality and small tweaks to the new templates.

Joanna Whitehead is a freelance journalist and copywriter based in London who needed a new website to showcase their writing and works as well as displaying testimonials and information about themselves and allowing potential clients to easily get in touch.

I completed this website in early 2023 by making a custom WordPress theme with easy to edit page templates as well a Portfolio post type which can easily be updated by the client. As with all websites I make, it was set up with all basic SEO settings and is fully responsive to all device sizes.

Yarda is an Australian based company that sells lawn protection products on a subscription basis. This project included rebuilding some of the key page templates for an already existing Shopify store. To accomplish the rebuild I created page templates, sections and blocks that could easily by edited, rearranged and used all over the site using Shopify’s in built visual editor.

This project was completed on behalf of Shoreditch Design Studio, with all new design templates made to the exact wireframes provided to me.

Humanity Research Consultancy were in need of some help with their WordPress website and asked me to help them turn their existing website into a professional looking, mobile optimised website. Their website was built using an off-the-shelf WordPress theme with Elementor for the page builder.

My job over the span of 2 weeks was to go through each page of the site and remake it, creating a consistent and fresh feel across the site. Feedback from the client:

This website was designed by the design agency Evolve Dental for Sparkle Dental Centre, a dental practice baed in Wales.

I was asked to undertake the website build precisely to the Figma wireframes provided to me. We were given a very tight and important deadline for this website, which we managed to meet, building the site in approximately one week. The site was built to exact design specifications as provided by the design agency.

IMD required some infographics to visualise data that had been collected on the largest family run businesses globally. Shoreditch Design Studio created the designs, which were handed over to me to be precisely converted into a working, interactive infographic that could be displayed on the clients website.

To accomplish this, I built the infographic in HTML, CSS and Javascript that was then packaged into a WordPress plugin so that it could be easily uploaded to and displayed on the clients website using a piece of shortcode.

Hey Barn Farm is a barn conversion available for bookings in Marsden, West Yorkshire. The owners of the property wanted to a new website with the ability to take bookings and payments online through the website as well as their offerings on websites such as AirBnb.

I build the website using WordPress and integrated a full booking system that provides the ability to take online payments as well as the ability to link the booking system to external booking calendars.

Duck Bathrooms are a bathroom retailer based in Essex who were in need of a new eCommerce site. They needed to be able to sell products locally while COVID-19 forced their shop to temporarily close, and also wanted to grow their sales for when the shop could reopen.

This large eCommerce site was built in Shopify to enable staff to have easy access to the stores backend and all its great reporting tools.

A large portion of this build included acquiring and formatting product data for the thousands of products that made up the retailers catalogue, before then building a website that would allow visitors to easily browse this large catalogue of products, and enable them to quickly and easily purchase them.

Virtually NHS is a London based company that offers virtual GP appointments to its customers within hours online. This project included adding new additions to an already existing WordPress website, the main addition being a new page which included an interactive Google map to showcase the companies new locations. The new additions were made to the exact specifications of the Figma wireframes provided to me by Shoreditch Design Studio.

Conversion are a CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) who were in need of a new website build to reflect the great work that they do for their large clients. The website was designed by a third party and I was tasked with turning the designs into a WordPress site using a custom made theme and html page layouts in order to maximise loading times and efficiency.

Filishack is a Filipino Street Food vendor based in Peckham, London. The owners needed a modern feeling site that could be easily updated to accommodate their changing menu, and so I provided them with a custom WordPress theme and ready made site, before giving them simple guides on how they can update the site in the future should they need to.

The design needed to be simple and allow users to quickly and easily find the key information about the business, whilst having a modern and slick feel to it. One of the first websites I made as a freelancer.

Marsden Fringe Festival is an arts festival in the West Yorkshire village of Marsden that runs along side the famous Marsden Jazz Festival. This website was built to an extremely tight deadline, and had to be built in the space of a couple of days.

The website features an interactive google map section making it easy to find all the festival venues and was made to act as an online festival guide, making it simple for visitors to find what is on, where to go, and what to do.

Colne Valley Creative is a new digital creative marketing agency focused on providing clients with all their online marketing needs. They were in need of a new website with a slightly corporate, yet fun and creative feel.
